SONATA / 01SONATA · FEATURED MIX
A Matsuri night under paper lanterns. Yukiko’s intimate Japanese vocals meet soaring English hooks, Sayaka’s emotional electric violin, and Yukari’s synth taiko, warm analog keys and DX7 bells. Over 15 minutes of bittersweet, driving Vocal EDM at 124 BPM, made for focus and flow.

Sonata is a virtual music unit blending vocal electronica, electric violin and traditional Japanese festival sounds. Sayaka, Yukiko and Yukari bring their individual voices to a shared musical world.
Delicate melodies and driving beats. Familiar landscapes and sounds yet to be discovered. Sonata Project explores the music that lives in between.
BEHIND THE MUSIC / 01
季節KISETSU — SONATA COVER
Lyrics copied into a childhood notebook. Decades without knowing the song’s name. Then a rediscovery: “Kisetsu,” the theme from the 1978 television drama Sono Machi o Kese!
In his production diary, Taku Harako traces a path from memory to music: transcribing lyrics by ear, rebuilding the music in MIDI, and working with his daughter’s singing. With Sayaka’s voice and electric violin, Sonata’s cover reaches out to others searching for the same song.
